The successful Territory Sales Manager will take the established sales territory to a new level expanding our business with both customers and prospective optical offices. This exclusive territory is geographically focused on Connecticut and Western MA.The Territory Sales Manager will travel throughout the territory and will be equipped with dynamic tools and technology including a rep-inspired sales cycling app! Schedule:

  • Customer appointments typically take place between 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Primary role:
• Contact Lens fitting and I&R’s.
• Maintains and anticipates needs for trial contact lens inventory for upcoming fitting appointments for both soft and RGP lenses.
• Demonstrates high quality and accuracy in the selection fitting and delivery of contact lenses.
• Provides regular customer education on proper use and maintenance of contact lenses.
• Processes accurate orders for contact lenses
• Actively promotes that customers use Middlesex Eye Physicians contact lens purchasing tools for reordering contact lenses and supplies.
• Remains current in knowledge of contact lens products technology and discontinued products.
• Maintains professional relationships with preferred vendors.

Professional Responsibilities include: • Collaborates professionally and effectively with peer opticians optometrists and ophthalmologists in the practice.
• Demonstrates high quality and accuracy in sales optical measurement fitting and delivery of eyeglasses and contact lenses to meet the customers prescription preferences and budget
• Builds strong customer relationships and a customer following.
• Maintains a keen focus on inventory controls.

This position is Monday through Friday supporting the office hours of the medical practice.

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Licensed Optician assists in leading the Luxury Retail stores to success by building and maintaining a strong client following. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains extremely high standards of sales and service.

  • Ensures finished eyewear meets the Luxury Retail standard of flawless accuracy.
  • Stays current on product knowledge and fashion trends in order to drive sales.
  • Maintains presentation standards both on the sales floor and back office.
  • Maintains inventory controls.
  • Understands and supports all Luxury Retail policies and procedures.
  • Trains and mentors Managers and Associates.
  • Supports set-up and execution of all events.
  • Exemplifies Luxottica Retail vision mission and values; celebrates Wins; leads by example.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma
  • State licensure or certification by a nationally-recognized opticianary association as an optician
  • 2+ years sales experience in the luxury service industry
  • Knowledge of current optical theory and practices
  • Natural ability in building a client following

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range: $31.94-$40.20

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors including geography experience qualifications skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care retirement savings paid time off/vacation and various employee discounts.
